My client is looking for. The position is for an Inside Sales Representative position located in Reston, VA (Reston Town Center). You will be calling on federal government and commercial accounts in and around the Washington DC area. The hiring company specializes in middleware software designed for data integration, federation and virtualization. The software performs integration on a number of data sources; packaged apps, RDBMS, flat files, Data Warehouses, Web Services. The data becomes accessible to users and on a near real-time basis. The cost of this federation and the speed to market are significantly decreased which makes this solution very interesting to the public and private sectors.

Inside Sales Representative's Role

  • Uncover new opportunities through proactive calling to target account lists (cold-calling)
  • Follow-up on leads generated from trade shows, website hits, marketing campaigns (qualification)
    Set up meetings for direct sales team
  • Work with Marketing to develop, execute, and update target account list, messaging, campaigns, and contact profiles
  • Keep CRM information up-to-date and provide on-going reporting

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience working with/describing enterprise technology (relational databases, ERP, CRM, Portals)
  • DoD/Intelligence level Security Clearance (TS, TS/SCI or higher)

The Inside Sales Representative is an individual with a proven track record in this role. As a leader, the Inside Sales Rep will work as a collaborative resource to drive software sales. The successful sales professional will possess knowledge and experience of database and middleware solutions. The Inside Sales Rep will work independently, as well as cooperatively with other team members. The primary focus of this role is to sell complete software solutions that maximizes product revenue, to drive enterprise sales programs, and to perform as a key strategist in competitive situations in assigned accounts.

Requirements
  • 4-5 years inside sales and/or field marketing experience
  • High energy, tenacity, and drive to succeed in sales environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree
