In this role as a Federal DoD Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the sale of the software company's products and services into Federal DoD agencies. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: building and expanding client relationships; identifying opportunities and positioning the middleware solutions to client requirements; developing business opportunities with alliance partners; developing, enhancing, and managing client interactions to
foster relationships at all levels of the organization; and closing business to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
The highly motivated and self-starter will be somebody who works well with not only their sales peers but the overall support organization as a whole, including marketing, pre-sales and professional services. The ability to foster a strong relationship internally will help to ensure full and timely revenue recognition and satisfied clients which is our # 1 goal.

7+ years of successful experience selling enterprise software solutions/middleware technologies into one or more agencies with a unique focus in the Federal Civilian arena required.

Experience and contacts selling to the DoD a plus

A solid and recent track record of success (most recent 3-5 years exceeding quota) is a must

Demonstrated success in capturing new business

Senior level contacts and relationships within Federal DoD agencies

Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

Strong usage of salesforce.com

Must be able to accurately forecast on an on-going basis (Salesforce.com knowledge is helpful)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing (or other relevant Bachelor’s degree) required
